Founding Partner and Managing Director

As a Founding Partner and Director of VIMAR, I focus on growth and excellence, always pushing myself and others to work harder and stretch farther.

When I started my first online business in the year 2005, I quickly realised that having an online shop means nothing, if it is not properly ranked on Google. This awareness stimulated me to peruse professional knowledge in SEO.

After completing Web Design and Internet Marketing courses in Dublin and Athlone, I founded Search Daddy – SEO company. I’m proud to say that I helped many Irish Business owners and International Companies to rank their websites and to reach their true potential. VIMAR is just another step towards excellence.

I am a committed musician who likes to listen with open ears and be surrounded by new thinking.

Alastair Roe

Founding Partner & Strategic Director

I am an enthusiastic entrepreneur with a passion for business strategy. Working in various industries gave me experience in delivering high-quality results. I hold various business qualifications in marketing and I am a Business Management Graduate from Carlow Institute of Technology.
Academic research has been crucial in my career and taught me how to remain focused and productive. My creative passion lies in contemporary arts.
While being an active musician and local chess instructor I thrive on problem-solving and delivering creative solutions.

Gregory Margas

With a background rooted in IT Training, an Honour’s Bachelor Degree in Education and more than 10 years of experience in sales and management, I focus on developing our client relationship and empowering our team to give their best and be the best. I also ensure our clients fully understand VIMAR creative capabilities and the true value of our services.

My passion is writing, outdoor sports and all type of communication. I love spending time with my wonderful family, exploring Ireland and helping in our local church. You could say that my life mission is encouraging people to find and fulfil their true God’s given destiny.

Joanna Bar

Art Director

With a decade of experience in multiple disciplines including branding and web design, advertising, illustration, book & magazine design; both internationally and locally I bring high-level conceptual thinking to the team and I set a new creative standard on the market.

My solutions are well-considered and highly functional, based on the analysis of the client’s needs to be perfectly matched to the industry, the company’s value system, and consistent with the tone of voice of the customer’s communication.

I have a true passion for painting and discovering the world with my two daughters and husband Peter, who is an enthusiastic programmer and a cracking ice cream maker.

Marek Juricek

Video Production Director

Videography and photography have been my passion since I was 13. Throughout 15 years of my professional photography and video production career, I have been working internationally for Video Photo Studio and started my company Waterfall Production in Ireland. I recorded and edited commercial shoots, promo videos, music videos and weddings and worked with a number of iconic brands including ABBOTT, PFIZER, and PARTNERS GROUP.

I’m always searching for compelling creative ideas, taking inspiration from everything around me and encouraging others to do the same.  Spending time with my wife who is a professional opera singer and my two daughters, exploring Ireland and drinking caramel Frappuccino in Starbucks around the country, gives me joy and recharges my creative batteries.

I am a visionary with careful attention to the tiniest of details. I can identify critical areas for growth and efficiency by providing authentic marketing ideas and solutions.

With certifications in Project Management and Graphic design, I can prioritise tasks with a drive to achieve my goals, and I encourage everyone around me to do the same with a spirit of excellence.

I have a considerable liking for typography and could gaze at an excellent graphic illustration forever. When I’m not tweaking words at my desk, you’ll find me tweeting all things about football or at the pitch creating goal scoring chances myself. Watch the nutmegs.
